How Does AI Pitch Generation Work?

The Playlist Pitch tool helps you generate a personalized pitch for playlist curators in just a few steps.

How it works

1. Track info — Enter your artist name, song title, and optionally your Spotify link.
2. Your sound — Describe your genre (up to 3), mood, key instruments, BPM, influences, and the story behind the song.
3. Target playlist — Pick a matching playlist from our suggestions, or enter your own playlist name, curator, and vibe.
4. Your pitch — Generate your pitch.

What you get

Once generated, you’ll receive two versions of your pitch:

• Spotify pitch — A short version (under 500 characters) ready to paste into Spotify for Artists.
• Email pitch — A longer version suited for reaching out to independent curators, blogs, or platforms like SubmitHub.

You can copy either version, or regenerate a new pitch if you’d like a different take.

Playlist matching

Based on the genres you select, HyDistro also surfaces playlists that match your sound, so you’re not just pitching blindly.

Submitting your pitch

If your plan includes submissions, you can submit your pitch directly to HyDistro’s playlist network. Our team reviews it and matches your track with suitable curators — you’ll be notified by email and in My Pitches. How many pitches do I get on my plan
