What Is Hook and How Does It Work?

Hook is an AI-driven social music app that lets users legally remix, mash up, and edit licensed songs to create short-form content for platforms like TikTok and Instagram. By enabling Hook for your release, you make your track available for users on Hook to remix and turn into short-form content — helping your music reach new audiences through user-generated remixes and edits.

How to enable it

When uploading or editing a release, go to the Stores & Monetization section of your release and toggle Hook on.

Pricing

Hook is a paid-plan-only feature — it’s not available on the Free plan.

Why enable it

Turning Hook on opens your track up to being remixed and used in short-form content by Hook’s user base, giving your music additional exposure on platforms like TikTok and Instagram through content you didn’t have to create yourself.
