How Do Artist Pages Work?

How Do Artist Pages Work?

Your My Artists page is where you manage every artist tied to your account — both your own primary artist profiles and everyone you’ve collaborated with.

Primary Profiles

These are your own artist identities. The number of primary artist slots you get depends on your plan:

  • Free / Starter — 1 slot
  • Pro — 2 slots
  • Label — 5 slots or more

For each primary artist, you can set their name, bio, primary genre, record label, and profile photo, and connect their Spotify and Apple Music profiles if they’ve released music before.

Collaborators

This section shows every artist who’s appeared on your releases — featured artists, co-artists, and anyone else you’ve credited. Availability depends on your plan:

  • Free — Collaborators are visible but locked; upgrading unlocks the ability to view and manage them.
  • Starter — Up to 10 collaborators are fully manageable; beyond that, they’re visible but locked until you upgrade to Pro.
  • Pro / Label — Full access to your entire collaborator history.

Artist details

Clicking into any artist (primary or collaborator) opens a detail view showing:

  • Their release count
  • A Health Score — reflecting things like whether they have a profile photo, a connected Spotify/Apple Music profile, and an active release history
  • Their latest releases and status
  • Quick actions: edit, add a personal note, view or add a royalty split, and request removal

Adding artists

  • Primary artists are added from the My Artists page itself, not during upload — see How Do I Add a New Artist? for the full process, including connecting existing streaming profiles.
  • Collaborators are typically added automatically as you credit them on releases (as Various, Additional, or Featured Artists), but you can also import an artist directly using their Spotify or Apple Music link.

Notes

You can add a personal note to any artist (like “Signed,” “Needs artwork,” or “VIP”) to help you keep track of who’s who — useful if you manage a large roster.

Summary: My Artists is where you manage your own Primary Artist profiles (1–5 slots depending on plan) and every Collaborator who’s appeared on your releases. Each artist has a detail view showing release count, a Health Score based on profile completeness and activity, latest releases, and quick actions like editing, adding notes, or managing royalty splits. Primary artists are set up directly on this page (not during upload), while collaborators are usually added automatically through crediting, or can be imported manually using a Spotify or Apple Music link.
