What Documents Do I Need for an Advance Application?

To apply for a Direct Advance, you’ll need to provide the following:

At application

• 6 months of streaming/royalty reports for the artist you’re applying with.
• A digital signature authorizing the application.

During review

Additional documents may be requested by our team as needed during the review process. If this happens, you’ll be notified and can upload the requested document directly from your advance dashboard.

Accepted file formats

When uploading documents, HyDistro accepts the following formats:

• PDF (.pdf)
• Excel (.xlsx, .xls)
• CSV (.csv, .tsv)
• Word (.doc, .docx)
• Images (.jpg, .jpeg, .png)

Where to upload

All documents — whether submitted upfront or requested later — can be uploaded from the Documents tab on your advance dashboard.
