How Long Does HyDistro Support Take to Reply?

General · 4 min read · Updated Oct 2, 2026

Summary: HyDistro Support replies to tickets and emails within 2 to 14 business days. Every request is answered individually, in the order it was received, so the fastest way to get help is to send one clear message and wait for our reply. Sending the same request several times, opening new tickets about an issue we’re already handling, or sending spam-like follow-ups does not speed things up — it can actually move your request further down the queue. While you wait, you can check your ticket’s progress in My Tickets, browse the Knowledge Base, or ask Live Chat, which is available any time of day.

Our reply time

We aim to reply to every support ticket and email within 2 to 14 business days.

Business days are Monday to Friday. Weekends and public holidays are not counted, so a request sent on a Friday evening is first looked at from the following Monday.

Most requests are answered well within this window. More complex cases — for example, a release that needs to be checked with a store, or a payment that needs to be traced — can take longer to fully resolve, but you will still hear back from us within the reply window, even if it’s to let you know what we’re doing and what happens next.

Every request gets a reply

We read and reply to every individual ticket and email. Nothing is ignored, and no request is closed without a response. If you’ve contacted us, you are in the queue and you will hear from us.

How the queue works

Support requests are handled in chronological order — first come, first served. When your request arrives, it takes its place in the queue behind the requests that came in before it, and our team works through them in order.

This keeps things fair for every artist: nobody is skipped, and nobody jumps ahead.

Why sending more than once slows you down

It’s natural to want to follow up when you’re waiting on something important. But sending the same request again, or contacting us several times about one issue, works against you:

  • Each new email or ticket joins the back of the queue. A second message about the same issue doesn’t move your original request forward — it creates a new request that starts at the end of the line.
  • Duplicate requests have to be found and merged first. When we receive several tickets about the same issue, our team merges them into one before replying. This extra step adds time to your case rather than saving it.
  • Repeated or spam-like messages can be pushed down the queue. Sending many messages in a short time, sending the same message to several addresses, or sending unrelated messages to get attention can cause your emails to be treated as low priority and knocked further down the chronological queue.

The quickest route is always one clear request, then waiting for our reply.

How to follow up the right way

If you need to add information to a request you’ve already sent:

  1. Open the email we sent you about your ticket.
  2. Reply directly to that email with your additional details.

This keeps everything in one conversation, so the team sees your full history at once.

To check on a request without sending a new message, sign in to the HyDistro Help Center and open My Tickets. There you’ll see each of your tickets, its current status, and every reply in the full conversation.

How to get a faster resolution

The reply window is about when we respond — but how quickly your issue is actually solved depends a lot on the first message you send. To avoid back-and-forth, include everything we need up front:

  • The artist name and the release title your request is about.
  • The catalog number or UPC of the release, if it’s about a specific release.
  • The email address on your HyDistro account, if you’re writing from a different one.
  • A clear description of what happened, what you expected, and what you’ve already tried.

A complete first message often means your issue is solved in a single reply.

Need an answer sooner?

Many questions don’t need to wait for a ticket at all:

  • Knowledge Base — step-by-step guides covering releases, royalties, payouts, your account and more. Most common questions are answered there in under a minute.
  • Live Chat — HyLora is available any time, day or night, for quick answers about your account, releases, wallet and more.

If neither solves your issue, submit a ticket — and we’ll take it from there.
